The problem with “clear”
A screening result that says “clear” is not a finding, because it does not say clear of what. Six months later, when the question is whether a customer was on a list at the time you onboarded them, a tick in a spreadsheet cannot answer it.
Buying screening from a reseller rarely helps: you inherit their refresh schedule and their idea of which lists matter, and neither is visible when you need to explain your own coverage.
What Screen does
Frodiq downloads the official files itself, server-side, and versions each one on import. A result names the lists it consulted and the version of each — and that record is stored with the screening, not reconstructed afterwards.
Arabic names are matched in their own script as well as through transliteration and spelling variants, so an Arabic query and a Latin listing of the same party meet. Every hit carries the arithmetic that produced it.
Screening does not stop at onboarding. Each day the sources re-sync and newly added entries are re-screened against your book; a full re-screen runs weekly. A removed entry annotates an open hit with a dated note rather than closing a decision on your behalf.

A screening that cannot name the dated versions it consulted is refused by the database.

Sanctions screening compares names against the named lists at their stated versions. It is a check, not a clearance, and the product's wording keeps that distinction everywhere it appears.
